Applications Are Being Accepted for the Marmaris Marifet Program Ebru Competition by Halkbank
Within the scope of the Marifet program, launched to support traditional arts, an ebru competition is being organized in its first year with the theme of Family.
Halkbank has announced the Marifet program to carry cultural heritage into the future and encourage the art of marbling (ebru), launching a Family-themed competition for its first year.
The Purpose of the Marifet Program
Halkbank has implemented the Marifet program in line with its vision of keeping traditional arts alive. Within this scope, the goal is to support Turkish Marbling Art with new productions and make mastery visible.
First Year's Theme is Family
A different theme will be addressed each year in the program, and the theme for the first year has been determined as Family, inspired by the Family and Population Decade.
Competition Conditions and Calendar
Turkish citizens who have reached the age of 18 can participate in the competition without any diploma or certification requirements. Applications started on October 7, 2026, and the application deadline has been announced as December 1, 2026.
Awards and Exhibition
While the top three artists will be awarded through the evaluation of expert jury members, one name will receive the Selection Committee Special Award. The award-winning works will meet art lovers through a special exhibition.
