The award ceremony and colloquium of the National Architectural Project Competition, organized for the Culture and Art Center that the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality plans to implement in Atapark, took place at the Hamamizade İhsan Bey Culture and Art Center.

Wide Participation Program

The program was attended by Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç, Trabzon State Theater Director Ahmet Uzuner, Chamber of Architects Trabzon Branch President Serbülent Vural, KTÜ Faculty of Architecture Dean Prof. Dr. Cenap Sancar, and invited guests.

Emphasis on the City's Cultural Identity

Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç stated that one of Trabzon's most important characteristics is being a city of history, culture, and art, and noted that they are working to address physical space deficiencies in these areas.

Ranked Participants Rewarded

In the competition, which saw the participation of forty-eight projects, the first prize was won by Buğrahan Miraç Eser and his team, the second prize by Fatih Yavuz and his team, and the third prize by Bilge Altuğ Polat and his team.
