Organized by the Menteşe Municipality with the contributions of the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, the 33rd Muğla International Culture and Art Festival continues to bring different art branches together with the city.
Traditional Wind Instruments Took the Stage
At the concert where Dr. Ercan Kılkıl from Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University and accompanying artists took the stage, melodies belonging to various regions were performed using traditional Anatolian wind instruments such as the mey, sipsi, zurna, zambır, düdük, and tütek.
Cultural Wealth Met with Citizens
The event, which brought together traditional Turkish folk music elements with contemporary academic studies, conveyed Anatolia's deep-rooted music and folk culture to the audience accompanied by a wide stage performance.
Citizens filling the City Square had an enjoyable evening thanks to the musical richness of regional folk music and folk dances.
Plaque and Flowers Presented to the Artist
At the end of the concert, Menteşe Municipality Deputy Mayors Sami Tomurcuklu and Engin Fırat Ata presented flowers and a plaque to Dr. Ercan Kılkıl for his contributions to the festival.
