The 2nd International and 29th Çal Grape Harvest Culture and Art Festival, organized in cooperation with Çal Municipality and Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, was colored by events held under the rain.

Festival Enthusiasm Continued Despite the Rain

The people of Çal and visitors came together in events that lasted from afternoon until night. Despite the rainy weather, the program continued as planned.

Traditional Rituals and Parade

A colorful tractor parade was held stretching from Çamlıkpark to Atatürk Park. During the program, representative grape harvesting, grape crushing, and molasses boiling activities were carried out.

Folk Dances and Zeybek Performances

Folk dances and Zeybek performances were staged to keep the cultural heritage alive. Participants showed great interest in the local events.

Night of Tribute in Memory of Edip Akbayram

At the most emotional moment of the night, master artist Edip Akbayram, who attended the festival last year and passed away, was commemorated. The artist's daughter, Türkü Bayram, experienced emotional moments on stage.

Meaningful Gift from Mayor Ahmet Hakan

Çal Mayor Ahmet Hakan presented a photograph of the artist to Türkü Bayram as a gift during the commemoration night in memory of Edip Akbayram.

High-Level Protocol Participation

A large number of local administrators, political party representatives, non-governmental organization heads, and numerous citizens attended the cultural event.
