Charles-Joseph de Ligne's Lightscapes Exhibition Opens at Vision Art Platform

Contemporary photographer Charles-Joseph de Ligne’s solo exhibition 'Lightscapes', curated by Susanne Van Hagen, has opened its doors at the Vision Art Platform gallery.
Exhibition Theme and Details
The exhibition features photographs consisting of the artist's works on light, optics, and perception. Curator Susanne Van Hagen stated that the pieces consist of series shot in close collaboration with nature along the Danube, in Belgium, Shanghai, and the Bosphorus.
Visiting Information
The exhibition can be visited free of charge until November 7. Open between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM on Tuesdays and Fridays, and between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM on Saturdays, the exhibition will remain closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Artist's Statements
Charles Joseph de Ligne stated that the creation process of the exhibition began in Paris. The artist shared that his meeting with curator Susanne Van Hagen took place through Ali, one of the founders of Contemporary Istanbul, and the gallery.

Aylin Seçkin Georges, an art enthusiast visiting from Canada, said that the exhibition reminded her of Mark Rothko. Artist Genco Gülan expressed that he found the abstraction issue in the photographs and the approach to digital art very interesting.
