Classical Music Concert to Be Held Among Paintings at Pera Museum
Pera Museum is preparing to host a special classical music concert featuring three cellists in its Encounters gallery hall.
The Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation Pera Museum, in cooperation with the Liszt Institute Hungarian Cultural Centre, will bring together art lovers on the evening of Thursday, September 24, for a classical music concert featuring three cellists.
Concert Details
Pera Museum will open the gallery hall of the 'Intersecting Worlds: Ambassadors and Painters' exhibition to the joint voices of three cellists from Hungary and Turkey on the evening of Thursday, September 24.
Organized in cooperation with the Liszt Institute – Hungarian Cultural Centre, the concert titled 'From Barrière to Kodály: Three Cellos' will meet music lovers at 19.30.
Artists and Repertoire
Ditta Rohmann, Richárd Rózsa, and Ozan Evrim Tunca will take the stage to perform various pieces for music enthusiasts.
The program will feature a rich repertoire consisting of works by Jean-Baptiste Barrière, Joseph Haydn, Zoltán Kodály, Reinhold Glière, and György Ligeti.
Music in the Exhibition Hall
The exhibition hall, visited by museum patrons throughout the day, will transform into a special listening space surrounded by works of art in the evening hours.
In an atmosphere different from traditional concert halls, the audience will follow the dialogue established by the three cellos across periods and musical traditions.
