Construction Tender Being Held for Giresun Cultural Center Project
The construction tender for the modern cultural complex, long awaited by the city's residents, is being carried out by the Giresun Special Provincial Administration.
The Giresun Cultural Center Project, which will strengthen Giresun's cultural and social infrastructure, has reached the construction tender stage. Through the tender to be conducted by the Giresun Special Provincial Administration, it is aimed to bring a comprehensive cultural complex to the city.
Project Location and Construction Area
The Giresun Cultural Center is planned to be established on a land of approximately 13 dönüms in Teyyaredüzü Neighborhood. The total construction area of the project has been determined as 7,380 square meters.
Multi-Purpose Hall Features
One of the most important parts of the center is the 779-seat multi-purpose hall. Designed with balcony seating areas, a stage, and backstage support units, this hall will host national and international events.
Social and Public Spaces
The center, which will host many events such as theater, opera, concerts, and conferences, houses living public spaces such as a library, workshops, open exhibition areas, and a cafeteria.
Parking and Landscaping
For the comfort of visitors, the cultural center features an open parking lot with a total capacity of 91 vehicles, including 5 spaces reserved for disabled individuals and 9 for electric vehicles. Additionally, landscaping works that integrate with the environment are planned.
Regional Impact and Follow-up Process
The project is expected to make Giresun a regional culture and art center. AK Party Giresun Deputy Nazım Elmas stated that the process within the Ministry of Culture and Tourism is being closely monitored.
