The culture and memorial complex, which will keep the memory of the master writer alive in Sheker village of the Aitmatov district in the Talas region, was opened to visitors with a ceremony.
Speech by Sadyr Zhaparov
Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Zhaparov, who attended the ceremony, delivered a speech in front of the artificial apple tree symbolizing the author's story "Red Apple".
Zhaparov stated that Chingiz Aitmatov's life and works will always guide them while building the "New Kyrgyzstan".
Project Completion Process
Stating that they are proud of the final completion of the project, which remained suspended for many years after construction began, the President thanked those who contributed.

Chingiz Aitmatov, whose works have been translated into many different languages, became known in Turkey especially with his 1970 novel "The Girl in the Red Scarf".
The film adapted from the book, starring Kadir İnanır and Türkan Şoray, took its place among the unforgettable classics of Turkish cinema.
Life and Death of the Author
Born on December 12, 1928, as the child of Torekul Aitmatov and Nagima Aitmatova, the author passed away in Germany on June 10, 2008.
Aitmatov's remains were buried at the Ata-Beyit National History and Memorial Complex near the capital Bishkek.
