Edirne Mayor Filiz Gencan Attended the Uzunköprü Festival
The Mayor of Edirne came together with local tradespeople and citizens and made inspections at the traditional event held in Uzunköprü.
Edirne Mayor Filiz Gencan took part in the opening program of the 5th Uzunköprü Culture, Art, and Agriculture Festival held this year.
Festival Opening Program and Cortege
Edirne Mayor Filiz Gencan participated in the official opening program of the 5th Uzunköprü Culture, Art, and Agriculture Festival held in the region. Following the cortege march held in Cumhuriyet Square, the festival area was visited.
Booth Visits and Citizens Meeting
Within the scope of the opening program, Gencan visited the booths in the festival area one by one, coming together and chatting with local producers, tradespeople, and citizens.
During these meetings, information was gathered about local productions and works.
Thanks and Event Invitation
Stating that the festival brings together the culture, production, and labor of Uzunköprü, Gencan expressed her wish that the event would be auspicious for the district.
Thanking Uzunköprü Mayor Ediz Martin and everyone who contributed to the organization, Gencan invited all citizens to the events running until September 27.
