Artist Emel Akbulut's exhibition titled "Embers", which explores the themes of forest fires, environmental destruction, and regeneration, has been presented to audiences at the Coldwell Banker Parla Art Corridor in ViaTower Bayraktar Plaza.

Theme of the Exhibition and Works

Featuring twenty works, the exhibition addresses the themes of destruction, transformation, and new beginnings in nature through the concepts of fire and embers.

Drawing particularly on forest fires, the exhibition establishes a strong connection between the devastation experienced in nature and the fractures within the human inner world.

Destruction and Regeneration

In artist Emel Akbulut's works, alongside flames, the embers and ashes left behind in the aftermath of fire come to the forefront.

The exhibited works focus on the idea of being reborn and standing back up following destruction.

Art Within Daily Life

Held in an art corridor inside a plaza rather than traditional gallery spaces, "Embers" aims to bring art into daily life.

Visitor Information

At the opening held on August 31, Emel Akbulut shared evaluations regarding the creation process of the exhibition and thanked those who contributed.

The "Embers" exhibition can be visited at the Coldwell Banker Parla Art Corridor until the end of September.
