Season Opening and Surprise Celebration
Artists of painting, ceramics, sculpture, and traditional Turkish arts gathered at the Fine Arts Association, Antalya's first art institution, to celebrate the new season.
During the celebration, association members also surprised GÜSAD President Ertuğrul Hepgüzel by cutting a cake for his birthday.
Artists Reunited
GÜSAD President Ertuğrul Hepgüzel stated that the artists, who spent the summer season on vacation, resting on stages or at homes, have come back together again.
Hepgüzel conveyed that with this gathering, exciting days have begun anew and the association members have bonded with a shared motivation.
Atatürk's Vision and New Projects
In his speech, the association president reminded participants of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's importance given to art and artists, emphasizing the foundation of their vision.
He noted that in the new season, they will carry art to parks and gardens, organize workshops, and provide training for children, youth, and adults.
