Four Exhibitions Opened at Zeugma Museum within the Scope of GastroAntep Festival

Within the scope of the Culture Route Festival events, four different art and history exhibitions have been opened to visitors at the Zeugma Mosaic Museum in Gaziantep.

Within the scope of the Culture Route Festival organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, four new exhibitions met with art lovers at the Zeugma Mosaic Museum as part of the GastroAntep events.

Four New Exhibitions at the Museum within the Festival Scope

The GastroAntep events within the scope of the Culture Route Festival host rich artistic activities alongside local flavors.

In this direction, a total of four different new exhibitions were inaugurated in the Foyer Area of the Zeugma Mosaic Museum and the area where mosaics are exhibited.

Exhibition of the Sacred Relics of the Ottoman Empire

Thirty-seven rare historical artifacts compiled from the collections of various museum directorates and institutions take part in this exhibition.

Artifacts from the Istanbul Tombs Museum, the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts, and other relevant institutions were presented to the appreciation of visitors.

Living Heritage Gaziantep Exhibition

This special collection, which introduces traditional crafts and handmade products specific to the city, attracts great interest.

Many traditional works ranging from Kutnu fabric to copper processing, from Yemeni shoes to Antep-style embroidery, are exhibited in this section.

Miniature-Style Ceramic Exhibition

Ceramic works prepared by Faculty of Fine Arts Lecturer Muhammet Aliyev took their place in the museum.

Sixty-five works consisting of specially designed vases, panels, and ceramic plates are examined closely by art lovers.

Encouragement of Art and Living with Art Exhibition

Thirty works prepared by the relatives of martyrs and veterans were presented for the appreciation of visitors within this scope.

These meaningful works, mostly consisting of philography pieces, received great appreciation from those visiting the exhibition.

Intense Interest of Art Lovers in the Exhibitions

Art lovers visiting the exhibitions at the museum stated that they had the opportunity to examine the works closely.

Participants expressed that they liked the opened exhibitions very much and emphasized the importance of such events.
