Health and Well-being in Aging Festival Begins in Antalya
The three-day festival addressed the active participation of older individuals in social life and international collaborations.
The opening program of the Health and Well-being in Aging Festival held in Antalya took place with the participation of protocol members, academics, and 60+ Refreshment University students.
Festival Opening Program
Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin, Kepez Mayor Mesut Kocagöz, academics, and 60+ Refreshment University students attended the opening program.
Cortege and Music Performance
Following the cortege walk, the festival continued with a music performance presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Leyla Bayramoğulları and Katrina Penman.
Emphasis on International Participation
Prof. Dr. İsmail Tufan stated that the event has gained continuity in its second year and that the Age-Friendly Kepez International Advisory Board meeting will be held.
Evaluations by Governor Şahin
Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin emphasized that growing older is an important blessing and expressed that 60+ Refreshment Universities offer new social spaces to individuals.

Dance and Activities
Students from different provinces of Turkey, as well as students from Cyprus Kyrenia and Anatolia 60+ Refreshment Universities, presented dance performances at the festival.
