Restoration Process of the Historical Building
A historical building was carefully restored in order to keep Biga's past alive, protect the city's memory, and contribute to its cultural future.
This renovated venue was made available to the district's residents, becoming an important center for culture and art activities.
Wide Participation Opening Ceremony
The opening program saw intense interest from the district protocol, members of parliament, municipal council members, and numerous citizens.
The ceremony, which also featured political party representatives and non-governmental organizations, was met with great satisfaction by the local people.
Speech by Mayor Alper Şen
Biga Mayor Alper Şen emphasized in his opening speech that historical buildings are the most important places carrying social memory.
Şen stated that while a building can be rebuilt, the lost memory of a city cannot be brought back with the same ease.

Mayor Alper Şen expressed his gratitude on behalf of Biga to the Gürkaynak family for their efforts in bringing the structure to the city.

Cultural Events and Musical Performance
As part of the opening program, master documentary maker and photojournalist Coşkun Aral held a talk and met with the participants.
