Taking the stage on the eighth day of the Turkey Culture Route Festival held in Çanakkale, the South Korean music group HoonDoo gave the audience delightful moments with the Turkish songs they performed.

HoonDoo Breeze at the Festival

The Turkey Culture Route Festival, organized for the fifth time this year in Çanakkale by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, continues in full swing. On the eighth day of the festival, the South Korean music group HoonDoo met with music lovers.

Performing a concert at the ÇOMÜ İÇDAŞ Kara Yusuf Congress Center, the duo consisting of Seung-hoon and Doo-jin received great acclaim from the participants with the beloved Turkish songs they performed.

Special K-Pop Performances

Colorful moments were also experienced during the concert where the South Korean group took the stage. IRIZZ, the winner of the 2026 K-Pop Contest organized by the Korean Cultural Center, accompanied the night with a special performance.

Various Art Workshops

Within the scope of the festival, handicrafts workshops were established at the Anadolu Hamidiye Bastion Hangar. While a woodblock printing workshop was held under the guidance of Handan Cengiz, the making of traditional Tahtacı Turkmen local clothing was explained under the direction of Gülizar Erken.

Additionally, an ecological printmaking workshop was conducted at the Suvare Art Gallery Workshop under the coordination of Dr. Selin Perk, offering art enthusiasts different experiences.

Talks and Screenings

Within the framework of cultural events, a talk on Haiku and the art of poetry was organized with the participation of local writer Fikret Çelik at the Çanakkale Mehmet Akif Ersoy Provincial Public Library.

Meanwhile, short film screenings themed around living heritage were presented to the audience at the Anadolu Hamidiye Bastion Hangar area.

Gökhan Türkmen Concert

In the evening program of the eighth day of the festival, famous singer Gökhan Türkmen took the stage at the Open Air Stage. The artist performed his beloved songs for music lovers in Çanakkale.
