İdil Biret Music Festival in Muğla Starts on September 14
Organized by the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, the event will bring classical music enthusiasts together in Bodrum, Muğla, and Datça for four days.
The İdil Biret Music Festival, held in honor of the world-renowned pianist İdil Biret, will take place between September 14-17 in three different districts of Muğla. Featuring a four-concert program with a total of 10 artists, master names as well as young talents will meet with classical music lovers.
Festival Program and Content
Led by the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra, the festival features two orchestra concerts and two chamber music groups. The event aims to convey İdil Biret's artistic vision to younger generations.
Opening and Concert Schedule
The opening of the festival will take place on September 14 at the Datça Amphitheatre. Hande Dalkılıç and Can Saraç will take the stage accompanied by the orchestra under the direction of Conductor Deniz Oliviera Erdinç.
The events will continue on September 15 with a concert by the Barcarol Trio, and on September 16 with a performance by the Hitit Trio and a music workshop by Hande Dalkılıç.
Closing and Young Talents
Cem Babacan and Tuna Bilgin will perform at the closing concert to be held in Muğla City Square on September 17. Tuna Bilgin will interpret Mozart's piece using the cadenza written by İdil Biret.
