Institutional Visits from the Afyonkarahisar Writers and Poets Association

The Afyonkarahisar Writers and Poets Association (AFYASAD) came together with the Afyonkarahisar City Council and the International Mevlevi Culture Revitalization Association to develop culture and art activities in the city.

City Council Contacts

Afyonkarahisar Writers and Poets Association President Muharrem Günay and board members visited Afyonkarahisar City Council President Ahmet Akkent.

During the meeting, the city's cultural, artistic, and literary life was discussed, and mutual evaluations were made regarding the development of new projects.

Messages of Cooperation

City Council President Ahmet Akkent expressed his satisfaction with the visit and wished the association management success in their new term work.

Akkent stated that, as the City Council, they are always ready for projects to be carried out jointly with AFYASAD.

Women's Council Meeting

Following the City Council visit, the AFYASAD delegation also met with Women's Council President Aliye Mete Sert.

During the gathering, women's activities in the fields of culture and art, as well as the expansion of literary activities, were discussed.

Mevlevi Association Visit

In their afternoon program, the association management visited the International Mevlevi Culture Revitalization Association and met with Association President Hacer Aran.

During the visit, Afyonkarahisar's historical values, the keeping alive of Mevlevi culture, and potential joint activities were brought to the table.
