International Muğla Culture and Art Festival Continues in Menteşe
Various exhibitions and workshops opened on the second day of the festival in Muğla were presented to the appreciation of local residents and art lovers.
On the second day of the 33rd International Muğla Culture and Art Festival, various exhibitions and art workshops were held in the Menteşe district.
Exhibitions at Yaraşlılar Culture House
At the Yaraşlılar Culture House, glassblowing artist Nasuf Cömert’s works and the Bodrum City Council Artists' Autumn Meeting Painting and Sculpture Exhibition were opened.
Glassblowing Art and Workshop
Artist Nasuf Cömert exhibited works such as miniature ballerinas, tear bottles, candelabras, and 'çeşm-i bülbül' formed by blowing into glass he heated with oxygen, and conducted a workshop with visitors.
Women Efes Painting Exhibition
Painter Mustafa Ali Kasap’s 'Women Efes' Painting Exhibition met with art lovers at the Konakaltı İskender Alper Culture Center.
National Struggle Heroes
The works depicting the struggles of Çete Ayşe, Gördesli Makbule, Kara Fatma, and Anatolian women attracted great interest from visitors.
Mayor Aras at the Canvas
Menteşe Mayor Gonca Köksal Aras participated in the workshop within the scope of the exhibition, went to the canvas, and painted alongside the artist.
Festival Program and Visit Duration
Mayor Gonca Köksal Aras stated that the festival will continue with theater plays, talks, concerts, and competitions, and the exhibitions can be visited for two weeks.
