The Istanbul Culture Route Festival, which started at the Atatürk Cultural Center with the participation of Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, has begun welcoming art lovers with hundreds of events.
Festival Opening Held
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy officially inaugurated the Istanbul Culture Route Festival, which brings art lovers together with more than 400 events.
Emphasis on Cultural Heritage
Minister Ersoy emphasized that the festival has an important aspect that supports local art production and brings cultural heritage together with new generations.
It was stated that stages were handed over to Intangible Cultural Heritage Bearer artists and living human treasures who keep this heritage alive.
The World's Largest Festival
It was stated that the Türkiye Culture Route Festival is the world's largest festival with its duration, scope, diversity, and number of visitors.
Information was shared that the event has opened its doors to art lovers for the sixth time in Istanbul, the city where it was born.
Venues and Events
It was announced that various cultural activities are being organized at 23 different venues and more than 50 locations within the scope of the festival.
It was announced that the program includes a total of 40 concerts and 15 exhibitions and installation events.
Artists and Program
It was announced that names such as Özcan Deniz, Oğuzhan Koç, Murat Boz, Kıraç, Simge, Poizi, Bengü, Ceza, and Bayhan will give concerts on the main stage.
Recitals, talks, modern dance performances, musical and theater plays, as well as special art events and workshops for children are included in the program.
