The Istanbul Culture Route Festival has started welcoming visitors for the sixth time as the 20th stop of the Turkey Culture Route Festival, with hundreds of organizations being held across the city.
Many different events, ranging from concerts and theatrical performances to exhibitions and workshops, are offered to the appreciation of art lovers.

History and Development of the Festival
The Culture Route Festival, which is held in twenty-six cities today, laid its foundations in 2021 with the Beyoğlu Culture Route Festival.
Events held at forty-one different locations in its first year expanded to different cities such as Ankara, Çanakkale, Diyarbakır, and Konya in subsequent years.

In the sixth year of the festival, the number of event locations in Istanbul increased more than a hundredfold, spreading over a wide area.
Galataport, the Atatürk Cultural Center, the Tophane-i Âmire Culture and Art Center, and the Süreyya Opera House are among the prominent centers of the festival.

Selçuk Eracun, President of the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Chamber of Guides, said that the festival influences the timing of the visit for foreign tourists rather than being the primary decision to travel.

The festival, where seven hundred and thirty events under one hundred and eighty different titles will be held across Istanbul, will end on October 4.
