İyilik Culture and Art Center Opened in Beyoğlu
Launched with the aim of keeping traditional arts alive and supporting oppressed regions, İKSM has started welcoming art enthusiasts.
Founded by the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, the İyilik Culture and Art Center has opened its doors in Beyoğlu to support art production and provide social benefit.
The Opening of the Center Was Held
The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation has established a new center to contribute to the sustainability of traditional arts and bring philanthropists together with works of art. The opening ceremony of the İyilik Culture and Art Center, which started operating in Beyoğlu, was held with a broad participation.
Location of the Center and Participants
Operating in a 5-story building located on Boğazkesen Street, the opening of the center was attended by IHH General Secretary Ahmet Göksun as well as numerous art enthusiasts and guests.
Education and Exhibition Activities
While various training sessions and courses for young people are planned to be organized at the center, original works of art produced here are aimed to be exhibited in the gallery within the building.
Support Model for Oppressed Regions
The exhibited works will be given to art enthusiasts who request them in exchange for donations. Thus, art enthusiasts will both own a piece of art and the donations made will be delivered to oppressed regions.
