Within the scope of a special program to be held in Tokyo by the Directorate of Communications, an exhibition consisting of photographs taken in Japan in 1956 and 1957 by master photography artist İzzet Keribar will be presented to art enthusiasts.

Purpose of the Exhibition and Participants

Within the framework of the program, representatives from the worlds of diplomacy, culture and arts, academia, and media, along with numerous guests, will come together.

The event aims to contribute to the joint memory of the two countries through the universal language of photography art.

Japan Through the Lens of İzzet Keribar

The exhibition will feature historical photographs recorded in Japan in 1956 and 1957 by master photography artist İzzet Keribar.

This selection, shedding light on Japan from approximately 70 years ago, will bring the visual memory of that era together with today's audience.

Visiting Dates and Cultural Interaction

The exhibition, which will open on September 14, will continue to welcome visitors on September 15.
