Alanya International Jazz Festival Press Conference Held
Details of the international jazz festival, which will be held for the 20th time in Alanya this year, were announced, and music lovers were invited to concerts in historical venues.
Preparations for the Alanya International Jazz Festival, to be organized for the twentieth time by the Alanya Municipality, have been completed, and the program was announced to the public at a press conference.
Festival Dates and Venues
The press conference for the Alanya International Jazz Festival, organized for the 20th time this year by the Alanya Municipality, was held and the schedule of the organization became clear.
Taking music lovers on a journey through time, the festival will meet with art enthusiasts on September 12, 17, 18, 19, and 20, 2026, in the unique atmosphere of the Seljuk heritage Red Tower and Alanya Castle.
One of Turkey's Longest-Running Festivals
Following Istanbul, this special organization, which is one of Turkey's longest-running and uninterruptedly held jazz festivals, will bring together the star names of world jazz stages in the Mediterranean in its 20th year.
Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik invited all music lovers to the festival, stating that the organization contributes to the cultural and artistic identity of the city.
Free and Rich Program
ALTAV President, Mayoral Advisor, and Festival Coordinator Abdurrahman Açıkalın recalled that the festival was postponed last year due to forest fires.
Açıkalın stated that unforgettable performances, featuring 4 Turkish and 4 foreign artists, will be witnessed for 4 days at the festival, which will be organized entirely free of charge this year.
Prioritizing Cultural Values
Deputy Mayor Murat Levent Koçak also touched upon the importance of the organization, stating that the Alanya Municipality highlights local values and cultural products.
Special Exhibition by İzzet Öz
The honorary guest of the festival, master television programmer and radio broadcaster İzzet Öz, shared the festival program with members of the press.
İzzet Öz announced that a special exhibition featuring twenty autographed 78 rpm records will also take place within the scope of the festival.
Grammy-Winning Artists and Opening Concert
Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik emphasized that 2 Grammy-winning artists will take the stage at the festival and that the organization will make a great contribution to the promotion of the city.
The opening of the festival will take place at the Inner Castle Viewing Terrace on Saturday, September 12, at 18:00 with the 20th Anniversary Special Concert, where master name of Turkish jazz Kerem Görsev Trio will take the stage.
