Kepez Municipality Second International Theatre Awards Press Conference

The introductory meeting of the organization, organized by Kepez Municipality, was held at the Dokumapark Modern Art Gallery, bringing together local and foreign artists.
Kepez Mayor Mesut Kocagöz, who hosted the meeting, made important evaluations regarding the preparation process.

Emphasizing the healing power of art, Kocagöz stated that their goal is not to pit theatre against theatre, but to make effort visible.

Tamer Levent, Coordinator of 'Say Yes to Art', touched upon the importance of organizing such a festival in Kepez and stated that he sees this as a great source of hope.
Gökhan Avkıran, Coordinator of the Kepez City Theatre, stated that they will work to make this important awards ceremony traditional.

In this year's event, a total of 37 theatre artists, including 8 from abroad and 29 from Turkey, will be hosted.
The event will bring together national and international theatre organizations as well as institutions and individuals who have achieved successful works.
Date and Location of the Award Ceremony
The 2nd International Mediterranean Theatre Awards will find their owners with a ceremony to be held at the Erdem Bayazıt Cultural Center on September 26.
All preparations have been completed for the ceremony, which will see participation from 29 provinces and districts of Turkey.
