As registrations for the Kırşehir Municipality Poetry Workshop's 2026 fall term begin, the procedures to be followed by citizens wishing to participate in the education have been announced. Applications for the free workshop will continue until October 9.
It was stated that candidates can apply in person at the Neşet Ertaş Culture and Arts Center Information desk, and the workshop activities will begin on October 10.
Workshop Fields of Study
Having started its activities in December 2021, the Kırşehir Municipality Poetry Workshop offers literature enthusiasts the opportunity to examine works belonging to different periods and styles. Within the scope of the studies, examples of Divan Poetry, Folk Poetry, and Modern Poetry are addressed.
The program also conducts practical studies on poetry writing practice alongside contemporary poetry reviews. The workshop brings the produced works together with art lovers through special poetry recitals prepared at the end of each term.
Culture and Art Projects
Kırşehir Mayor Selahattin Ekicioğlu emphasized that they have implemented numerous projects for the development of the city in every field since the day they took office.
