Kütahya's 10th Living Heritage Festival Commences with a Cortege Walk
Realized with the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the events opened their doors with a rich cultural program and a procession that witnessed colorful scenes.
The tenth Living Heritage Festival held this year in Kütahya officially began with a widely attended procession walk and various cultural events.
Procession Walk and Participants
The walk, which started in front of Laleli Mosque and was enlivened by TOGG vehicles featuring tile patterns, ended enthusiastically at Victory Square. The Kütahya protocol and ministry officials also accompanied the walk.
Opening Program and Events
The program held at Victory Square continued with high participation through a mehter band performance, folk dances, and protocol speeches.
Exhibitions and Visitor Areas
Protocol members individually inspected the stands in the square, the exhibitions at the Old Tile Museum, and the special meeting area in the tile makers' bazaar.
Duration and Scope of the Festival
Throughout the three-day events, traditional handicraft stands, exhibitions, children's games, Karagöz shadow play performances, and concerts will be organized.
