Mahrokh Fouladian's Exhibition 'The Other' Meets Art Lovers in Antalya

Iranian collage artist Mahrokh Fouladian's special exhibition titled 'The Other', led by curator Himmet Öcal, has been presented to art lovers at an art gallery in a hotel in Antalya.

Exhibition Opening and High Interest

The exhibition, opened at an art gallery in a city center hotel under the curation of art consultant Himmet Öcal, received great interest from art circles.

In addition to numerous artists and art enthusiasts, academicians from Akdeniz University Faculty of Fine Arts also attended the opening.

The Artist's Childhood Years and Introduction to Art

Iranian collage artist Mahrokh Fouladian, who has been living in Antalya for 11 years, stated that she was introduced to art at the age of four thanks to her mother, who worked as a tailor in her home country where she was born and raised.

Stating that she created shapes by gluing tiny pieces of fabric onto flat surfaces next to her mother, the artist conveyed that her colorful works won everyone's appreciation.

Education and Social Projects

Graduating from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Fouladian expressed that she provided art education in nursing homes for seven years.

She noted that she brought working children and youth on the streets together with art, painted in parks, and also carried out activities with individuals with autism.

Curator's Views on the Works

Curator Himmet Öcal stated that Mahrokh Fouladian produces her works with a unique mixed technique and uses pieces of fabric alongside paint in her creations.

Emphasizing that each of the artist's works has a distinct story, Öcal congratulated her for her successful work.
