Marmaris Culture and Art House leaves its first year behind

Marmaris Municipality Culture and Art House has signed its name to hundreds of different events in the one-year period since its opening on April 23, 2025.

Reopening and Events

Marmaris Municipality Culture and Art House reopened its doors with the Children's Festival held on April 23, 2025.

In the period since its opening, the center has hosted hundreds of different gatherings for district residents and art lovers.

Education and Course Activities

Within the scope of educational studies carried out within the body of the center, training was provided to approximately 500 trainees in 11 different branches during the 2025-2026 term.

Following the completed term, course registrations for the new educational term continue uninterrupted at the center.

Seminars and Exhibitions

Throughout the activity period, approximately 50 talks and educational seminars were organized at the center and brought together with participants.

In addition, more than 30 photography, painting, and ceramic exhibitions consisting of works by local and foreign artists were presented to the appreciation of art lovers.

Workshops and Performances

Alongside the acting workshop with master actor Hakan Salınmış, numerous different drama workshops were carried out.

Within the framework of cinema events, Laborer Films and Latin Film screenings were held, and more than 10 dance performances and music events were organized.

International Visitors

The Culture and Art House hosted important figures and artists from different countries throughout the activity period.

Ambassadors and artists from countries such as China, Italy, Russia, and Latin America were welcomed at the center.

Theater Studies

An important step was taken in the field of theater with the establishment of the Marmaris Municipality Theater (MABET) within the center.

Through this established theater company, two different plays were staged and brought together with audiences.
