Marmaris Municipality Culture and Art House prepares for the new educational term

Marmaris Municipality Culture and Art House, which has become the art center of the district by hosting many artistic activities since the day it reopened its doors, continues its preparations for the new education term.

Meeting Point of Art and Culture

Marmaris Municipality Culture and Art House became one of the district's important culture and art centers after reopening its doors with the Children's Festival held on April 23, 2025.

Hosting talks, exhibitions, workshops, film screenings, dance, music, and theater studies since its opening, the center has welcomed many local and foreign artists.

Events Held and Guests

To date, approximately 50 talks and educational seminars have been organized at the center, along with more than 30 exhibitions and over 10 dance performances and music recitals.

In addition to the acting workshop with Hakan Salınmış, various drama workshops were organized, and Worker Films and Latin Film screenings were held.

Furthermore, ambassadors and artists from China, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Latin American countries were hosted at the center.

Establishment of the Municipal Theater

Within the scope of the cultural studies carried out, the Marmaris Municipality Theater was established and met with the audience by staging two different plays.

In the 2025-2026 education term, approximately 500 trainees received training in 11 different branches and participated in artistic activities.

New Education Term Course Registrations

While course registrations for the new education term continue, the educational opportunities offered at the center are maintained in a wide range.

The center includes adult theater, creative drama, piano, violin, ballet, guitar, vocal training, diction, effective communication, bağlama, folk dances, painting, and conservatory preparation courses.
