Cooperation Between the Committee on Finance and Budget and the National Economics University

The Committee on Finance and Budget and the National Economics University have signed a strategic cooperation program covering the areas of legislative review, macroeconomic monitoring, and human resource development.
Signing Ceremony Held
On the afternoon of September 18, the National Economics University and the Committee on Finance and Budget held an official signing ceremony for their cooperation program.
The ceremony was co-chaired by Phan Van Mai, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Chairman of the Committee on Finance and Budget, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho, Chairman of the University Council of the National Economics University.
The University's Historical Mission
In his speech at the ceremony, Bui Duc Tho, Chairman of the University Council of the National Economics University, highlighted the institution's 70-year journey of construction and development.
He stated that the university has always remained committed to its mission of producing and disseminating knowledge in the fields of economics, management, and business administration.
Key Focus Areas
The signed program focuses on key issues such as providing independent policy advice and critical analysis.
It also aims to directly support the National Assembly's efforts in reviewing laws and monitoring macroeconomic issues.
Expert Network and Contributions
Within the framework of the program, the development of qualified human resources and strong expert networks is targeted.
Phan Van Mai, Chairman of the Committee on Finance and Budget, emphasized that the university's intellectual resources would contribute significantly to improving the quality of the committee's legislative review and oversight activities.
