Comprehensive Renovation Initiated
Marmaris Municipality has launched a comprehensive renovation work at the Armutalan Culture Center, one of the prominent centers of the city's cultural and artistic life. Within the scope of the activities, a modern wedding venue is being created while renovations are also being carried out in the event hall and various sections of the building.
History and Services of the Center
Opened in 2014 during the term of the Armutalan Municipality and having hosted numerous events such as concerts, theater performances, and exhibitions to date, the center has welcomed hundreds of artists and thousands of art enthusiasts. Alongside cultural and art events, the center, which has also served as a wedding venue, has entered a maintenance process after 12 years.
New and Modern Wedding Venue
With the works carried out by Marmaris Municipality, the culture center is gaining a more modern and functional appearance, while a brand-new wedding venue is also being established. Aiming to host couples' most special days in a more contemporary environment, work continues on the hall located on the ground floor with a capacity of 150 people.
Roof Insulation and Physical Improvement
In order to improve the physical conditions of the culture center, roof insulation is also being carried out on the building. Thus, it is aimed to make the structure healthier and more durable.
Tarık Akan Stage Being Renewed
The Tarık Akan Stage, where theater plays, concerts, and various cultural and artistic events are held, is also undergoing maintenance and renovation works. While the floor coverings of the hall are being cleaned, worn-out parts such as lighting, lamps, and accessories are being replaced.
