Muammer Karaca Theatre Reopens After a 14-Year Hiatus
Restored by IMM Heritage, the historic theatre hall is opening its doors with an extensive culture and arts program that will run until the end of October.
The Muammer Karaca Theatre, restored by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, is reuniting with its audience through the Muammer Karaca Theatre Festival after remaining closed since 2012.
Restoration and Reopening Process
The venue, repurposed as a result of the efforts initiated by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in 2019, is opening its doors to art lovers after a long hiatus.
The historic theatre hall gained a modern look thanks to the comprehensive restoration work carried out by IMM Heritage.
Muammer Karaca Theatre Festival Events
Organized specially for the opening, the Muammer Karaca Theatre Festival will last until the end of October and bring vitality to Beyoğlu's culture and arts life.
Within the scope of the program, a total of 97 different events will be presented to art lovers, continuing until the end of October.

The special program, running until the end of October, features a total of 35 theatre plays, 31 talks, and 17 concerts.
The cultural events are further enriched with 10 workshops and 4 different performances to meet audiences.

The redesigned structure houses a modern 300-seat theatre hall, a Theatre House, and a multi-purpose cultural venue.
