New Support Award for Young Filmmakers at the Ayvalık International Film Festival

Within the scope of the Ayvalık International Film Festival, organized in cooperation with the Seyir Association and the Ayvalık Municipality, the Kahve İçen Yorulmaz Filmmakers of the Future Award is being introduced to support names taking their first steps in cinema.
New Award Excitement in the Fifth Year of the Festival
The Ayvalık International Film Festival, which will be held for the fifth time this year by the Seyir Association in cooperation with the Ayvalık Municipality, is preparing to meet film lovers between September 14 and 20.
Realized with the contributions of Kurukahveci Mehmet Efendi, this new initiative aims to support and encourage directors taking their first steps in cinema.
Details of the Award and Selection Committee Members
The financial value of the award, which will be given to a director making their first or second film, has been set at 200,000 TL.
The selection committee that will determine the winner consists of prominent figures such as Alin Taşçıyan, Berkay Ateş, Cem Kaya, Elif Ergezen, and Pelin Esmer.
Opening Ceremony and Ceremony Date
The designated award will be presented to its winner at the festival opening ceremony, which will be held on the evening of September 14 at 20:30 at the Ayvalık Municipality Büyük Park Amphitheater.
