Artists' Speeches
The first part of the opening began with speeches by prominent names in the art of photography: Özcan Yurdalan, Yusuf Tuvi, Dora Günel, Kemal Cengizkan, and Yusuf Aslan. Guests also expressed their gratitude to Serkan Çolak, Sinan Kılıç, and all the contributors of the collective who labored to bring the venue to life.
Scope of the Memory Exhibition
The opening's inaugural event, the "Memory" exhibition, brings together the works of 25 photographers. The exhibition was prepared based on the power of photography to bear witness and keep the collective memory alive.
Social and Individual Memory
The exhibition addresses events that left a mark on social memory, such as the Ankara Train Station Massacre, the Iraq Gulf War, urban transformation in Fikirtepe, the Soma Mining Disaster, and the DİSK protests in the 1990s. In addition, works focusing on personal memory and individual experiences are presented to the audience.

Established as a non-profit independent culture and art space, No238 aims to create new grounds in the field of visual culture through exhibitions, talks, workshops, publications, and joint productions. The "Memory" exhibition can be visited for one month following the opening.
