In an official statement made via the Ukrainian Navy's Telegram account, it was emphasized that this clash was the first combat between uncrewed maritime vehicles.
The statement noted that the country's military intelligence agency also participated in this operation featuring the Sargan 3000 uncrewed craft, which is equipped with a 12.7 mm Protector weapon system.
