Ortaklaşa Program Provides Support to First Four Projects in Its New Term

In the new term of the Ortaklaşa: Culture, Dialogue and Support Program, carried out with the support of the European Union, a total of 500 thousand euros in grant support was awarded to four projects selected from 147 applications from different cities in Turkey.

Scope of the Program and New Term Goals

The results of the first project proposal call for the 2026-2029 period of the Ortaklaşa: Culture, Dialogue and Support Program, carried out in partnership with İKSV, Culture Action Europe, and Marmara Municipalities Union, have been announced. A total of 147 applications were received from 43 cities across Turkey.

Four Projects and Cities Winning Support

In line with the criteria of the Evaluation Committee, four projects to be implemented in Ayvalık, Diyarbakır, Gürpınar, and Osmangazi became eligible to receive grant support totaling up to 500 thousand euros.

Local Cultural Policies and Public Spaces

İKSV Cultural Policy Studies Director Özlem Ece stated that the supported projects aim to function cultural spaces not merely as physical areas, but as public spaces where city residents participate in decision-making processes.

Project Partnerships in Ayvalık and Gürpınar

While the A Cinema Project in Ayvalık is carried out in partnership with the Seyir Culture-Arts Association and Ayvalık Municipality, the Gürpınar Culture Participation Network Project is brought to life in cooperation with the Ninova Association and Gürpınar Municipality.

Details of Diyarbakır and Osmangazi Projects

While the A Courtyard Between Languages: Mazxana project is carried out in partnership with the Diyarbakır Literature Association and the Metropolitan Municipality, the Romangal project is realized in partnership with the Ankara Aks Association and Osmangazi Municipality.
