Historical Narrative Will Be Presented
Pera Museum is preparing to offer its visitors a rich historical narrative with guided tours it will organize on September 18 and 25.
Coffee and Ceramic Transformation Will Be Addressed
Starting at 18:00, the first tour titled Coffee, Inspiration, and Innovation will focus on the Extraordinary Minas exhibition, addressing the introduction of coffee into Ottoman daily life and the transformation experienced in Kütahya ceramics.
Plate Series and Lithograph Works
During the tour, the connection between Minas Avramidis's plate series themed The Story of Genovefa and the period's lithograph works will be highlighted.
Art of Weight and Measure Tour
In the second leg of the program, taking place at 18:45, the tour titled Gods, Symbols, and Measures will be held under the guidance of the Art of Weight and Measure exhibition.
Anatolia's Trade History Will Be Examined
Examining the civilizations of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Ancient Greece, and Rome through weight objects, the tour will bring together Anatolia's 4,000-year trade history with mythological symbols.
