Tracing its roots back to the Musika-i Hümayun established in 1826, the Presidential Symphony Orchestra crowned its two-century journey with a magnificent concert in Ankara.
High Interest from Art Lovers
Tickets for the season opening, held at the CSO Ada Ankara Ziraat Bankası Main Hall, sold out weeks in advance, and audiences formed long queues at the concert venue.
Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Gökhan Yazgı also attended the opening concert, sharing the historical excitement of the institution with the citizens.
Magnificent Repertoire and Performance
The concert was conducted by CSO Music Director Cemi’i Can Deliorman, while world-renowned Uzbek pianist Behzod Abduraimov took on the role of the night's soloist.
The artist performed Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-flat minor, offering the audience unforgettable moments.
