The "Roots, Light and Camera!" special section, which will bring productions from Iran, Lebanon, Ukraine, and Palestine to the audience as part of the 63rd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, has been announced.

Festival Dates

The International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, one of Turkey's most established film festivals, is preparing to meet cinema lovers for the 63rd time this year.

According to the set schedule, the event will take place in Antalya between October 24-31, 2026, and will host many important productions.

Purpose of the Special Section

The selection titled "Roots, Light and Camera!", which is part of the festival's international program, will be presented to cinema lovers.

This special section focuses on the efforts of creators who do not just settle for surviving under difficult and extraordinary conditions, but who see cinema as a space for existence and expression.

Ukrainian Productions

Various notable productions and directors from Ukrainian cinema are included in the selection.

"Another Day in the Metal Box" directed by Gleb Feldman and "Easter Day" directed by Mykola Zasieiev are among these productions.

Works from Iranian Cinema

Numerous films and directors from Iran will meet with cinema lovers in the program.

Babak Khajehpasha's "The Land of Angels", Karim Lakzadeh's "Living Twice Dying Thrice", and Amirali Navaee's "Sunshine Express" are included in this group.

Palestinian and Lebanese Productions

Works by Palestinian and Lebanese directors and co-productions also hold an important place in the selection.

"Palestine 36" by Annemarie Jacir and "Gazawyat: Noor" by Shorouq Al-Aila are among the works to be screened within this scope.
