Statements Regarding Antalya's Culture and Art Investments
The Atatürk Cultural Center and Glass Pyramid facilities in Antalya have been prepared for new cultural and artistic events through ongoing comprehensive renovation works.
Canip Can, General Manager of ANSET, an affiliate of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, visited Manşet Media Group and shared details about the renovation works carried out at the Atatürk Cultural Center and the Glass Pyramid, as well as upcoming cultural and arts events.
Visit to Manşet Media Group
Canip Can, General Manager of ANSET, an affiliate of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, visited Manşet Media Group to discuss cultural and artistic investments in the city. During this meeting, the renovation processes of the halls and the organizations to be held in the upcoming period were addressed.
Manşet Media Group Chairman of the Board Murat Çiçek and columnists were also present during the visit. The steps taken to strengthen the city's art infrastructure were discussed in detail during the talks.
Physical Transformation in Facilities
A comprehensive renovation process was carried out at the Glass Pyramid and the Atatürk Cultural Center, which had not been maintained for many years and remained idle. With the work done, it is aimed to use these important facilities efficiently.
The idle halls within the Glass Pyramid were transformed into a dynamic structure capable of hosting a wide range of events such as theater, stand-up, dance shows, and fairs. The physical conditions of the halls at AKM were also improved, making them ready for high-segment organizations.
Culture and Arts Calendar
It was reported that the city's culture and arts calendar will continue uninterrupted and preparations are ongoing. It was conveyed that important organizations such as the Book Fair, symphony concerts, and the International Antalya Piano Festival will take place during this process.
Digital Communication and Rental Model
Stating that when they took office, they found that the institution and facilities were not adequately represented in digital media, Canip Can expressed that citizens can instantly be informed about events thanks to newly opened social media accounts.
It was noted that budget discipline is prioritized for the sustainability of the facilities. While free usage support continues for public benefit associations and public schools, a corporate rental model has been adopted for other organizations.
