Within the scope of the fund investigation, the assets of 46 legal entities, 18 funds, and 42 natural persons were frozen, and an overseas travel ban was imposed on 37 suspects.

Measures Taken Regarding Assets

Fund capital outflows between July 1 and August 16 were examined in detail, starting from the highest amounts.

As a result of the investigations, the assets of 46 legal entities, 18 funds, and 42 natural persons were frozen and taken under protection.

Overseas Travel Bans Implicated

Thirty-seven suspect individuals mentioned in the investigation file who previously had no measures against them were identified.

A decision of an overseas travel ban was issued and implemented regarding these individuals as a judicial control measure.

Letters Sent by the Ministry of Justice to Institutions

The Ministry of Justice sent official writs to all relevant institutions and organizations to prevent the smuggling of asset values.

The sent writs requested the prevention of transactions such as transfers, assignments, sales, account closures, and high-amount cash withdrawals.

Extension of the Investigation to Executives

The investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Bureau of Investigation of Laundering Offenses continues to expand.

Tera Investment CEO Emir Münir Sarpyener and Tera Portfolio Chairman of the Board Erdin Özel, who previously had an overseas travel ban, were detained.
