Moviegoers take their places in theaters this week with a rich selection ranging from science fiction to romantic comedy, horror to animation.
A total of ten new productions meet audiences in movie theaters across Turkey this week, including Ridley Scott's post-apocalyptic film Dog Stars, the romantic comedy Just One Night, and the re-release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
Science Fiction and Romantic Comedy
Directed by Ridley Scott, Dog Stars conveys the story of young pilot Hig and military expert Bangley, who struggle to survive in a post-apocalyptic world, to cinema enthusiasts.
The romantic comedy film Just One Night, directed by Will Gluck and starring Monica Barbaro and Callum Turner, is also among the productions released in theaters.

The Algeria, Palestine, and France co-production Chronicles of Siege addresses the daily life struggles of people caught in the middle of war and events in the Yarmouk refugee camp.
Outsiders: Once Upon a Time in Germany, directed by Ahmet Küçükkayalı, focuses on the struggle of a young man who migrated from Zonguldak to Germany to hold on to a new life.
Horror Films and Harry Potter
Dolly, a US production directed by Rod Blackhurst, and the local horror film Cebran invite audiences who love the thriller and horror genres to movie theaters.
Chris Columbus's 2001 fantasy film Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone meets audiences on the big screen once again as the first installment of the series.
