The fairy tale and mythological heritage of Turkic peoples meets art lovers in Ankara

The 'Myths, Dreams, Fairy Tales' project, which reinterprets the fairy tale and mythological heritage of Turkic peoples through contemporary art, has started in Ankara and will run until September 26.
Purpose and Collaboration of the Project
The 'Myths, Dreams, Fairy Tales' project, which reinterprets the fairy tale and mythological heritage of Turkic peoples through contemporary art, has been presented to art lovers in Ankara. Implemented in collaboration with Doğu Batı Yayınları, Zorba TV Dergi, CerModern, and Emin Antik Sanat Merkezi, this comprehensive event is organized within the scope of the Turkey Culture Route Festival.
Management and Event Content
While Ümit Yaşar Gözüm undertakes the writing and art direction of the project, Yücel Feyzioğlu serves as its consultant. The event program features a rich variety of activities, including exhibitions, documentary screenings, panels, talks, storytelling sessions, musical performances, and book signing events.
Exhibitions at Emin Antique Art Center
Two separate exhibitions themed around Turkic and Anatolian mythology opened at the Emin Antique Art Center in Ankara Castle. Curated by Ümit Yaşar Gözüm, the illustration exhibition is organized in memory of artist Mustafa Delioğlu, alongside a painting exhibition by Önder Aydın that also met with audiences.
CerModern Event Program
As part of the CerModern segment of the program, a documentary screening will be held, and Ümit Yaşar Gözüm and Yücel Feyzioğlu will deliver presentations on Turkic world mythology. Additionally, Yücel Feyzioğlu's fairy tales will be brought to the stage by different narrators, accompanied by musical performances.
Panel and Closing Events
The final event of the project will take place at CerModern on Saturday, September 26, featuring panels following a documentary screening. The events will conclude with book signing sessions by Yücel Feyzioğlu.
