Works of Adnan Turani and Mustafa Ayaz Meet in an Exhibition in Ankara
The works of Turkish painting masters Adnan Turani and Mustafa Ayaz are coming together with art lovers in the Encounter exhibition at the Mustafa Ayaz Museum.
The Encounter exhibition, which brings together the lives and works of important representatives of Turkish painting art Adnan Turani and Mustafa Ayaz under the same roof, is opening its doors in Ankara.
Purpose and Scope of the Exhibition
Prepared by the Mustafa Ayaz Museum and Plastic Arts Center Foundation, the exhibition creates an intellectual meeting space between the works of two strong representatives of Turkish painting art.
Beyond being a selection bringing together the artists' works, the Encounter exhibition offers the opportunity to re-evaluate their artistic understandings.
Curators and Subtitle
Organized with the subtitle Two Lives Dedicated to Turkish Painting Art, this special exhibition is curated by Nilay Ayaz and Siret Uyanık.
The exhibition handles the artistic lives of Adnan Turani, known for his educator identity, and Mustafa Ayaz, known for his figurative expression, under the same roof.
Opening and Panel Program
The opening of the exhibition will take place at 13:00 at the Mustafa Ayaz Museum, followed by a panel discussion at 14:00.
In the panel to be held, the artistic approaches, works, and contributions to Turkish painting of the two masters will be discussed and elaborated in detail.
Names Participating in the Panel
Prof. Dr. Hasan Pekmezci, Painter Habip Aydoğdu, and Prof. Dr. Adnan Tepecik will take part as speakers in the art panel to be held.
Among the other guest participants of the panel are Dr. Necati Yalçın and Dr. Dilek Karaaziz Şener.
Visiting Dates and Hours
The Encounter: Adnan Turani – Mustafa Ayaz exhibition will continue to welcome visitors between September 19 and November 15, 2026.
Art lovers will be able to visit the exhibition at the Mustafa Ayaz Museum every day except Mondays between 10:00 and 17:30.
