Workshops and Exhibitions Held on the Fourth Day of the Çanakkale Culture Road Festival

On the fourth day of the fifth Türkiye Culture Road Festival held in Çanakkale, events including archaeological restoration processes, a felt workshop, a holy relics exhibition, and children's literature talks took place at the Troy Museum, the Anatolian Hamidiye Bastion, and the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Provincial Public Library.

Restoration Processes Observed at the Troy Museum

Within the scope of the 'Curtains Are Opening' event held at the Troy Museum, art enthusiasts had the opportunity to closely observe the restoration and conservation processes of archaeological artifacts.

Meticulous work carried out on artifacts obtained from ancient city excavations and various sources was presented to the visitors' interest along with the application process.

Felt Workshop at the Anatolian Hamidiye Bastion

The Anatolian Hamidiye Bastion Hangar hosted a special workshop focusing on felt, one of traditional Turkish textile arts.

During the event organized under the guidance of Hande Sümer Yıldırım, participants experienced the stages of wool fibers turning into felt using heat, water, and soap.

Exhibition of the Sacred Relics of the Ottoman Empire

The 'Sacred Relics of the Ottoman Empire' exhibition, which can be visited throughout the festival at the Troy Museum, continued to welcome art enthusiasts on the fourth day.

A total of 57 works are featured in the exhibition, which also includes examples of holy covers that were opened to visitors at Topkapı Palace following Eyüp Sultan.

'Walking Tree' Event for Children

The 'Walking Tree' event held at the Çanakkale Mehmet Akif Ersoy Provincial Public Library brought children together with contemporary children's literature.

During the talk held with the participation of local author Gülgün Çako, shares reaching into the imaginative worlds of children through the book were made.
