Adobe Acquires Indian Marketing Intelligence Startup Rilo
Adobe has acquired Rilo, an India-based startup that develops marketing workflow automation technology, through a license and team transfer.
Software giant Adobe has confirmed the acquisition of Rilo, an India-based startup operating in the field of marketing workflow automation. This move marks the company's second investment in India following its 2023 acquisition of Rephrase.ai.
Acquisition Details and Process
Adobe integrated India-based marketing intelligence startup Rilo through an agreement involving licensing and a team transfer. While the parties did not publicly disclose the financial terms and details of the deal, Adobe refrained from making any additional purchase announcements.
Founded in 2025, Rilo had previously secured funding from investors and provided an exit for its investors with this agreement. Following the acquisition, Rilo will cease operations and will no longer continue to serve its current customers.
Artificial Intelligence and Workflow Technology
The technology developed by Rilo offers solutions that enable companies to automatically create, distribute, and monitor their campaigns. With the integration of the six-person team into Adobe, the goal is to incorporate this technology.
The startup has developed infrastructures that allow go-to-market teams to create custom workflows such as competitor intelligence, content distribution, and sales call analysis.
