Yağcıbedir Carpet, Culture and Art Days Begin in Sındırgı
The traditional festival, which was postponed due to past earthquakes, opened its doors in the district center with a colorful cortege march and the opening of stands.
In the Sındırgı district of Balıkesir, the 24th International Sındırgı Yağcıbedir Carpet, Culture and Art Days, which had been postponed due to the earthquakes that occurred last year, began with an enthusiastic cortege march.

The events began with the official opening of the stands following a cortege march carried out with the participation of protocol members and citizens.
Participants and Festival Schedule
The events, which featured Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Akın, CHP Balıkesir Deputy Serkan Sarı, and other protocol members, will continue until September 6.
Cultural Events and Performances
Within the scope of the festival, concerts will be held, and folk dance teams coming from different regions of Turkey and foreign countries will present performances.

At the stands meeting visitors, Sındırgı's traditional Yağcıbedir carpet, along with local culture and handicrafts, will be promoted.
