Youth from Adıyaman embark on a cultural journey in Çanakkale and Akçay

Within the scope of the program organized in cooperation with the Adıyaman Municipality Women and Family Services Directorate and the Volunteers Movement Capital Volunteers Association (GÖNÜL-DER), youth from Adıyaman participated in a one-week cultural trip covering Çanakkale and Balıkesir.

Historical visit in Çanakkale

In Çanakkale, the first stop of the program, the youth visited the Çanakkale Martyrs' Cemetery within the scope of the August 30 Victory Day events. Touring the historical areas accompanied by guides, the youth had the opportunity to see the places where the Çanakkale Wars took place and commemorate the martyrs.

Social activities in Akçay

After visiting Çanakkale, the youth moved to the Akçay region of Balıkesir and participated in a one-week Youth Camp organized there. Exploring different spots in Akçay and Altınoluk, the participants had an enjoyable time with various social activities such as theater and music.

Emphasis on emotional bond

GÖNÜL-DER President Necmi Kutlu touched upon the importance of the emotional bond established with Adıyaman and stated that support regarding youth camps and social aid will continue in cooperation with the municipality.
