Detention warrant issued for prosecutor who used profanity against judges and prosecutors
New legal steps have been taken against Bozova Public Prosecutor Türkşad Kunthan Uçuk, who was suspended by the Council of Judges and Prosecutors for insulting judges and prosecutors.
An ex officio investigation has been launched and a detention warrant has been issued against Bozova Public Prosecutor Türkşad Kunthan Uçuk, who was determined to have used profanity against judges and prosecutors and was suspended by the CJP.
Grounds for the Detention Warrant
An investigation has been launched by the Tekirdağ Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Bozova Public Prosecutor Türkşad Kunthan Uçuk, who was found to have used profanity directed at judges and prosecutors.
Suspended by the CJP
Following the footage shared on social media, the Second Chamber of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors unanimously decided to suspend Uçuk as a precautionary measure for three months.
Entered the Divorce Case File
It was determined that the video containing the profanity was entered into the divorce case file involving Uçuk and his wife at the Tekirdağ 4th Heavy Penal Court.
Had Come to Attention with Past Investigations
Türkşad Kunthan Uçuk had previously made a name for himself during his term of duty in Istanbul with the investigations he conducted concerning well-known figures, including singer Gülşen.
