$10.8 Billion in Deals Signed at Baku Investment Forum
Numerous projects covering various sectors are being implemented at the international forum held in the capital of Azerbaijan.
Within the scope of the 2nd International Investment Forum held in Azerbaijan's capital, Baku, 23 agreements covering investment projects with a total value of $10.8 billion were signed with international investors and partner companies.
International Investment Forum
Organized by the Ministry of Economy under the auspices of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the forum brought together government officials from various countries, global investors, international financial institutions, think tanks, and business world representatives.
Global Agenda and Themes
Held under the theme of restoring trust in a fragmented world, the forum addressed the global economic agenda, investment perspectives, and new opportunities for regional cooperation.
Strategic Sectors and Potential
The main agenda of the forum consisted of Azerbaijan's regional connectivity and investment opportunities, development prospects of the Middle Corridor, industry and free economic zones, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, as well as energy and green transition.
New Agreements Signed
During the forum, 23 agreements were signed foreseeing investments in areas such as artificial intelligence, energy, renewable energy, construction, digital economy, industry, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, finance, and water management.
